Clear Cache using Web Manager and PowerShell
You can clear all the contents of a specific cache and the cache will be emptied. Please follow the following steps to clear a specific cache.
Using NCache Web Manager
Launch NCache Web Manager by browsing to
http://localhost:8251
(Windows) or<server-ip>:
(Windows + Linux).In the left navigation bar, click on Local Caches or Clustered Caches based on the cache to be removed. This opens up a new page at
<server-ip>:8251/
. The page shows any existing local or clustered caches and additional details like Server and Server Platform.
Click on the "..." button against the cache name.
Click on Clear Contents from the options.
- A message will be prompted on the screen on clearing cache contents.
- On successful cache clear a notification will show that cache is successfully cleared.
Using PowerShell
Clear-Cache cmdlet enables the user to clear the cache by removing all the items currently present in the cache.
The following command clears the items present in the cache named demoClusteredCache forcefully.
Clear-Cache -Name demoClusteredCache -ForceClear
