Dual Socket
Each node participating in cluster can establish two connections with every other node. Purpose of increasing the number of connections is to increase throughput by maximizing the network usage. As network I/O is a slow process, opening multiple connections improve the performance.
By default,
dual connections are disabled. You can enable or disable this feature by
specifying following options in <appSettings>
of NCache service's config file.
If you are using cache as InProc, you need to specify this in config.exe of your application.
<appSettings>
<add key="NCache.EnableDualSocket" value="true"/>
</appSettings>
