Create NCache Cloud Service Subscription in Azure
The first step of Getting Started with NCache Cloud Service is to have your own cloud subscription registered with Azure.
In this chapter, we will go through how to create an NCache Enterprise/Professional subscription in Azure for a fully functional cloud environment.
Go to Azure Portal and login with your credentials.
In the search box, type SaaS and press the Enter key. This will lead you to the SaaS page.
Left click on + Add to begin adding a SaaS subscription. This Add button will take you to the Azure marketplace.
Search for NCache and click on either the Enterprise or Professional subscription.
Note
We recommend you use NCache Enterprise edition as it is equipped with vast variety of features. Please visit Edition Comparison to see the difference between these two editions.
- From the Select a plan dropdown menu, select a plan according to your requirements. These plans are:
- Pay as You Go: NCache usage will be charged hourly.
- 1-Year Reserved: NCache usage will be charged annually.
Tip
- Click on the Plan + Pricing tab to view the pricing details of these two plans.
- Go to NCache Cloud Pricing to view detailed pricing entitled with these two plans.
Press the Set up + subscribe button to start creating your subscription.
Fill out the SaaS subscription form with the plan details according to your requirements.
Left click on the Review + subscribe button on the bottom left corner of the page to review the details of your selected plan.
On the Review + subscribe section of the form, review your plan. When done, click on the Subscribe button.
This will create your SaaS subscription on Microsoft Azure. To configure this configuration on NCache Cloud Portal, click on Configure account now.
The next step is to complete purchase of this subscription on NCache Cloud Portal, which is explained in the next chapter.
