Connect to Deployed Servers
Note
This option is only available for auto deployed machines.
You can connect to your deployed machines in the following way:
Go to Subscription Dashboard -> Deployment Environments.
Select your environment and click on See Details against it.
Under Servers, select the machine you want to connect to and click on the Connect button.
Note
The Connect button will be disabled if:
- Public IP address is not assigned to the server.
- Deployed server does not have Internet access.
- Clicking Connect for a Linux machine will show a Connect with SSH dialog box. This dialog box will have a command and password to connect to your Linux machine.
- For a Windows machine, you will see a Connect with RDP dialog box.
Download the RDP connection file by clicking on the Download RDP button.
Use the copied credentials to login to your server in the RDP dialog box.
Repeat the same process for all servers. You can also connect to a different server from the machine that you are currently connected to; the same way you would connect to a machine from your local system.
Important
For an AWS machine, you will need a Private Key to access your machine. Get this key from the dialog box and use it to extract password against your server from AWS EC2 console.
Tip
If your machine does not have NCache activated on it, then you can manually activate it by following the guide on Manually Activate NCache on Deployed Machine.
Once you have access to the machine, you can now start using NCache in it. Refer to Configure NCache Clusters for more details.
