Stop-Cache
Stop-Cache cmdlet enables users to stop the cache on a specified server. It also enables the users to stop multiple caches on specified server.
Stop-Cache [-Name] [-NoLogo] [-Port] [-Server]
The parameters along with their descriptions are explained below.
Examples
- This command stops the cache named demoClusteredCache on local server.
Stop-Cache –Name demoClusteredCache
- This command stops caches demoCache and demoClusteredCache on local server.
Stop-Cache demoCache,demoClusteredCache
- This command stops the cache named demoClusteredCache on server node 20.200.20.30 using port 8250.
Stop-Cache –Name demoClusteredCache –Server 20.200.20.30 -Port 8250
Note: The parameters with asterisk (*) on their names are the required parameters and the rest are optional.
