As part of the Tech Support Team, the Sales Engineer is our ‘person on the ground’ responsible for presenting and evangelizing Alachisoft product offerings and architecture in the best light to prospects and customers. Your role is to build confidence in Alachisoft’s product features and technology infrastructure, and to remove technical objections in the sales cycle.
Your Role and Responsibilities:
- Understand customer/prospects’ needs and work closely with the Sales Team to establish Alachisoft’s products as the best solution for the customer
- Present technical demos and custom solutions of Alachisoft products, on-site and on-line
- Write technical solution oriented proposals
- Help guide customers through custom integration issues
- Train customers on use of our products, post-sale
- Over time, give technical talks at symposia, tradeshows and meetups
Desired Skills and Experience
Qualifications
- B.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or MIS
- Experience as a Sales Engineer in the enterprise software industry
- Strong background in .NET and Java application development
- High energy person with professional relationship building skills
- Strong communications and interpersonal skills
