Alachisoft is currently looking for a Software QA Manager who is obsessed with quality, has strong leadership experience, and also enjoys hands-on QA.
Our QA work not only involves testing tools and applications but also API testing in .NET, Java, and other languages. So, this person must have strong programming background to help write API test programs.
Responsibilities
- Manage a team of QA engineers to achieve the highest quality product delivery.
- Plan and drive execution of black box, white box, and automated testing for multiple simultaneous projects
- Work closely with the DEV team to identify and understand key features and their underlying functionality and behavior.
- Produce a concise and clear picture of product quality for the project from concept to product release.
- Oversee the development and execution of test plans and monitor and report on test execution
- Oversee the development of API testing programs in .NET, Java, and other languages
- Coordinate all interaction between DEV and QA teams
- Be an experienced but hands-on manager who can build a team and ensure it performs
Desired Skills & Experience
Qualifications
- BSCS/MSCS with 8+ yrs of solid QA and QA leadership experience
- Experience with test planning, test plan writing, and test automation
- Experience in agile development methodologies
- Strong programming skills in C# for API testing (Java also okay)
- Project management of QA team’s work
- Must have excellent English writing & verbal skills
- Must have a confident and outspoken personality
