NCache 4.8 released with Free Community Edition
San Ramon, California – November 2, 2017 – Alachisoft, the makers of NCache – in memory distributed cache, which is fastest path to build scalable .NET Applications has released NCache 4.8 with free Community Edition.
NCache 4.8 has now launched a FREE Community edition and it provides the powerful GUI based NCache Manager to let you easily configure caches from a central location. With NCache 4.8, users can enable the cache clusters to automatically recover from Split-brain scenarios without any manual intervention.
.NET Core Support is one of the core aspects of this release. NCache now provides a totally native .NET Core clients that can run both on Linux and Windows. NCache ASP.NET Core session provider also received enhancements and now supports IDistributedCache interface in ASP.NET Core. NCache team has also implemented very easy to use EF Core 2.0 Extension Methods to allow you cache application data that you are fetching through EF Core 2.0.
NCache has given support for Docker and your NCache client applications and NCache Servers can now be deployed and used within Docker containers.
NCache has also strengthened the security between NCache Clients to NCache servers. Communication can be secured end to end through TLS 1.2 ensuring all the data traveling between NCache Servers and NCache Clients is fully encrypted and secured on the transport level.
NCache now has Pub/Sub (Publish/Subscribe) messaging features. This paradigm is receiving worldwide adoption. NCache supports Pub/Sub where published sends messages into channels and subscribers only receive messages of their interest topic. This can be used to build event-driven architecture and messaging bus for interoperability among your various data sources.
