Orlando Codecamp is a free, one-day learning event for programming professionals and students with a focus on coding, databases and related technologies, concepts, and practices. The developer conference has hosted presenters of all stripes and experience. This year the Orlando Code Camp was held for a 14th consecutive year. The Orlando Codecamp is organized every year by the Orlando .NET User Group.
NCache had been a proud Platinum Sponsor of Orlando Code Camp this year. 14th Orlando Code Camp 2019 was held Seminole State College, Sanford, FL. A wide range of topics was covered by 90 speakers who gave 92 sessions during Code Camp 2019. You can see all the sponsors list here this year and all sessions here.
Attended by 621 developers from the local community, code camp featured sessions ranged from ASP.NET Core SignalR, PGSQL 11, Quantum Computing, Async Development, Azure media services, CQRS, and Distributed Caching.
NCache’s Technology Evangelist – Iqbal Khan delivered a session on the topic: “Optimize ASP.NET Core Performance with Distributed Cache”. Developers were presented with code examples around best practices for developing high traffic web applications and optimizing ASP.NET core performance. During the session, Iqbal also demonstrated how to handling extreme transaction loads using open-source distributed cache.
