Start-Cache
Start-Cache
cmdlet enables the user to start the registered cache. If the
server nodes are specified the Cache process is started on the mentioned nodes. Multiple caches can also be started on specified server.
Start-Cache [-Name] [-Server] [-Port] [-NoLogo] [-Password] [-UserId]
These properties are explained in detail in the Properties section.
Examples
- This command starts the cache named demoCache on local server using port 8250.
Start-Cache –Name demoCache
- This command starts the cache named demoCache and demoCustereCache on local server using port 8250.
Start-Cache –Name demoCache,demoClusteredCache
- This command starts the cache named demoCache on server node 20.200.21.11, using default port 8250.
Start-Cache –Name demoCache –Server 20.200.21.11
- This command starts the cache named demoCache gracefully on port number 8251.
Start-Cache demoCache –server 20.200.21.11 –port 8251
