Add-PortableType

This feature is only available in NCache Enterprise Edition.
Add-PortableType
cmdlet enables the user to register different custom classes
and different data types for data sharing which reduces traffic and data size
with the help of Compact Serialization. Data sharing can be configured between
different versions of objects of same platform as well as different objects of
different platforms.
Add-PortableType [-CacheName] -ConfigPath [-NoLogo] [-Password] [-Port] [-Server] [-UserId]
These properties are explained in detail in the Properties section.
Examples
- This command configures the objects of shared types for a cache named demoCache in the configuration file placed at the path specifies.
Add-PortableType -CacheName demoCache -ConfigPath C:\\config.xml
- This command configures the objects of shared types for a cache named demoCache existing on the server node’20.200.20.11’ in the configuration file placed at the path specified.
Add-PortableType -CacheName demoCache -ConfigPath C:\\config.xml –Server 20.200.20.11
