AWS Deployment Methods
The NCache Cloud Portal supports two kinds of AWS deployment methods, Automatic and Manual deployment.
AWS Deployment: Automatic Deployment
Using Automatic AWS Deployment, you can easily deploy resources through the NCache Cloud Portal. This deployment of resources requires you to provide information for a Deployment User that has access rights over your AWS subscription. The NCache Cloud Portal uses this user's credentials to create and manage all deployed resources.
By choosing Automatic Deployment to deploy resources in your subscription means that you are giving the NCache Cloud Portal the necessary rights to deploy and manage all resources inside your subscription. If you do not want to grant the NCache Cloud Portal these rights, please select Manual Deployment instead.
To view further details, please see Automatic Deployment.
Manual Deployment
Using Manual AWS Deployment, you can deploy all desired resources manually through predefined command line interface scripts. As all you need to do is to run a script on your AWS CLI. Manually deploying resources in your subscription doesn't require you to provide IAM (Identity and Access Management) user credentials either which ensures privacy rights. But, you will have to manage all manually deployed resources yourself through the NCache Cloud Portal.
In the case of Manual AWS Deployment, you will be provided scripts for deployment and removal of NCache servers, which you will execute on the AWS CLI.
